K.C. Ball lives in Seattle. Her short stories have appeared in various online and print publications, including Analog, Lightspeed and Murky Depths, as well as in a collection of her works, Snapshots From A Black Hole & Other Oddities, published by Hydra House Books. Her novel, Lifting Up Veronica, was released in May, 2013 by Every Day Publishers. K.C. is a 2010 graduate of the Clarion West writers workshop. She won the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future award in 2009 and the Speculative Literature Foundation's Older Writers award in 2012.
