The Carcosa View, Nathan Crowder, The Mad World Cycle, A Cobalt City Universe Story.
Part of the Mad World Cycle series:

There is madness spreading on the streets of Cobalt City.

Thankfully the city has superheroes to protect it.

Arising from the chaos of a suburban rave turned deadly, the mysterious figure dubbed the King of Crows threatens to tear the city apart with his nightmare-manifesting, reality-warping abilities. Things in Cobalt City are about to get strange, which means MonsterSmash is on the case.

Composed of the cynical and broken quantum scientist Bog Witch, the one-quarter dead skateboarder Ghost House, and the tentacle-slinging daughter of two enemies of the state Kraken, MonsterSmash is uniquely qualified to tackle the weirdest things haunting Cobalt City’s streets.

But the King of Crows isn’t your average criminal. He might just be a minor god. And his agenda could rain down disaster upon the city if the heroes of MonsterSmash don't get it together in time to knock reality back into shape.

The Carcosa View is a stand-alone novella of mind-bending, weird heroics from Cobalt City creator Nathan Crowder that can also be read as a piece of the puzzle in the four-part epic Mad World Cycle.
